  • There were many high points this convention, but one big one was to meet Dax, Collette, Sharlie, and Ryan in person! You all and Zak, whom I’d met last year, are the people that my daughter, Cath, fell in love with during the Mt. Everest trek of May 2010. That’s when she and I joined Larsen Global. So happy to have made that personal connection at the 20th Year Convention. Okay, that’s not a convention an ‘announcement,’ so I’ll add one: new products! Always excited to have new products, new formulas upgrades, and new science to share with customers.

Thank you so much for sharing! I was so hoping that Sharlie would be at Convention and share with us. I follow her on Facebook and was reading her blog throughout her ordeal so I was so excited when she came out. I hope that you do get the video of her on stage so that I can share it with my friends that started following her story through my sharing it on Facebook.

At our convention Highlights meeting last week, I shared that my favourite part was hearing from you and seeing that Sharlie is doing so well <3

Thanks for all you do for the USANA family!!!

Great video, Dax and Collette! I would have to say that my favorite USANA announcement would have to be the new products that were introduced. I feel like it is so important for healthier foods to be appealing to the taste buds, too, just so that more people consume them and enjoy them in the process!

Having our bodies be as healthy and strong as possible as well as genuinely living a joy-filled and fulfilling lifestyle, I believe, are two of our most powerful marketing tools as USANA Associates. When others see us feeling great and enjoying our lives (rather than being exhausted by our lives and our businesses), what we have becomes highly attractive to them and they “want some of THAT!”

What a gift it is to be a USANA Associate. Extraordinary product lines, a brilliant compensation plan that continues to expand in our favor, and being able to be in business with those we love and care about. What more can one ask for?!

Thanks Collette and Dax. It truly was a fantastic convention. USANA made it more than worthwhile for all of us – the speakers, the new products, the new assessment tool, the IPAD!!! I had a new Associate with me, who works for a multi-billion corporation and she said, “my company’s conventions are nothing compared to this … this is SERIOUS!”.
It was wonderful to see Sharlie on stage with you and Zak. Just wonderful.
    Thanks for the recap.

  • Love these video podcasts! 🙂

    I had 2 favorite announcements:
    1) Not as much as an announcement, but having Collette, Zak, and then Sharlie come on stage and tell their story of love, recovery, and hope was an amazing experience. Not a dry pair of eyes in the house.

    2) BiOmega Jr.!! We have 2 little kiddos, and have a passion for children’s health. Now, we have an amazing option for $25/month to have a Usanimals/BiOmega Jr. bundle gets these growing kids the best possible nutrition. 🙂

My biggest takeaways (although the iPads were sweet) was Sharlie’s speech! HOPE!!!! That’s what got her through 19 years of breathing! Hope from USANA products, Sanoviv, Dr Wentz, her USANA family & her family! When Collette spoke about locking arms & pushing through!!! When Zak talked about Vision he had a clear vision that next year his Mom & Sister would be speaking on stage at convention!
Then the cherry on top was when “by chance” I met Sharlie although it felt like we had already met years ago, I got to hug her & be filled with Hope & love!
My second was another chance meeting with my newest associate where both of us had listened to Darren Hardy (he was the Spanish translator) & we both reached out of our comfort zone & found each other & decided to partner up together, while out to dinner Dave Wentz was at the table beside us & talk about personalization, personally welcomed Ricardo to the USANA Family!
So take away, we are spreading HOPE! lock arms with people you love & care about its easier when you don’t go it alone!, have a clear vision & never lose sight of it no matter how big it is!, & this company is about personal attention, service & support from the top all the way down to the bottom!!!
Thank you USANA for always topping yourself in Heart!

  • I captured Sharlie’s speach all on my ipad but the sound quality is not very great because you can hear me crying from beginning to end! Also Sarah put on her vision board that she wanted to get the ipad bag case so she could be USANA just like mommy 😉

  • Every convention is amazing and blows me away, but OMGoodness, there are not words to describe this year. Rebranding, personalization, iPADs, True Health Assessment, Go Nuts & Berries and BiOmega Jr. Did I mention Dr. Oz and having my picture made with him (a great picture, if I do say so myself!). Dr. Wentz always pushing the edge of health and nutrition, continuing to research and provide information and products to enable his USANA to love life and live it. I can’t wait to hear what USANA is going to do to revolutionize iodine supplementation.
This is supposed to be short, so I guess I’ll quit with just ONE more comment — I was sooooooo thrilled to see Sharli on stage. I have shared her story on Facebook and with everyone I come in touch with, asking for their prayers for Sharli and family. Tears were flowing as Collette, Zak and Sharli closed the convention. I love my USANA family.

As I reviewed a Dr. Wentz video one evening, I recalled why I loved USANA. His integrity and idealism to do good and bring about healthy and loving change made my heart ache with joy and sadness. I left USANA after 10 years because i could not make a go with it. I obviously keep abreast now and again to find out what’s happening. Blessings to you and Sharli and family. Her story has always been miraculous as is yours.

  • My favorite part of the USANA Convention was the iPad2 giveaway to encourage all the Associates! And when Sharlee made a surprise guest appearance sharing her story.
That was amazing! And was also so happy to see that there was open captioning for the deaf and ASL (American Sign Language) interpreters were provided for the deaf as well! Blessings! :o)

  • Beverly A Matz

Collette, so sad I couldn’t attend convention this year. But I was on FB and even opened a Twitter Account and spent the day reading posts and looking at the pictures people posted. Convention is always awesome, but this year with the Ipad — well it was just over the top. I think the Stage production was fantastic, especially the ‘white board’ with the drawings on it before your very eyes. WOW. Did you catch that the BiOmega Jr. has 1,000 units of Vitamin D in it? That is great to get kids started with a significant amount of Vit. D if nothing else. USANA is just the best.

  • Nancy Neigus

Wonderful convention. Well, they are all great, but USANA outdid themselves this year. There was so much going on every day; I was panting to keep up.
My favorite announcement was the next 20 year vision of Personalization along with the new apps to make that easier for associates to follow through, and, of course, well, the iPad was an amazing gift. How clever of USANA to make life easier to maintain their fabulous software and tools by actually giving us the platform!! Our company was such wonderful leaders and, they are smart.
My favorite moment of the convention was your family on stage for the closing segment. I was thrilled to see Sharlie. She looked great and her words are always so well thought and well spoken. I cried through the whole thing (I think you did too Collette). There was so much love beaming and bouncing around that arena that the throbbing was palpable. Thank you so much for that beautiful moment. What a high!!!

    Thanks Collette and Dax!
Convention was incredible this year! I had goose bumps the entire Convention! I have to say my highlight was the personalization tools we were given. The Health Assessment is such an amazing tool that can be a powerful edge in our businesses. I have been approaching Chiropracters and Massage Therapists with this tool since returning from Convention and they LOVE it! This tool gives them something different to add to their current business to set them apart.
An Associate and I have started up a womens only running and hiking trail club in Boise, Idaho and we are offering Health Assessments to all of our members to help them achieve their fitness and health goals. We could not have asked for better timing with
I took a new Associate this year and Convention blew her away! She came from another Network Marketing Company

I took a new Associate this year and Convention blew her away! She came from another Network Marketing Company and USANA’s 20th Convention blew her away. She is forever a part of the USANA family.
Thank you for the amazing ending to Convention 2012 Larsen Family! Your story and life inspires and touches so many of us.

  • The WHOLE convention was awesome! If I have to narrow it down, there are two highlights.
The iPad and tools announcement was incredible, and what was so touching in all that wasn’t the iPad, but just how much USANA does to help us. They are truly amazing….I think you’re right, they sit around and say, “How can we make it even better for the distributors”.
Also, the closing segment and your sharing Sharlie and her incredible journey with all of us. I was looking for Sharlie the whole convention because I’d listened to the Lifemasters and knew she would be there….wearing that sign. The closing segment was truly moving. Thank you all so much!

  • There is so much at every convention that takes my breath away, but Sharlie was the perfect end and her beautiful, breathtaking story. The takeaway of how life is so precious and to help others have the beauty and joy in their life as you have been able to give to her and your entire family! It strengthened my resolve to share USANA with everyone I know and love & to enhace their lives so they can live life to the fullest in happiness and health. Thank you for the constant gift you share with us all – yourselves & the knowledge that we too can be that guiding light to others! 😀

  • Wow! I cried so hard at the closing session on Saturday. Sharlie moved me so much!
We were at Lexis funeral along with 1000 plus others and that day came flashing back to me.
Sharlie, you are Brave, you are Special, and you are a Blessing!
Loved the convention and love USANA for 18 years now.
Thanks Collette, Zac, Dax, and all.

Thank you Collette and Dax for another great podcast! I have never met Dax so it is great to see you, Dax, on screen!

The 20th Convention, which was our 10th, will be talked about for many years to come! Between the surprise iPad giveaway at the first general session and the surprise entrance by Sharlie on stage with you, Collette, and Zak at the finale….it was four days filled with surprises and memories to last a lifetime! WOW! What a perfect ending to an over-the-top four days filled with heart, hope and possibility! I cried the entire time you three were on stage and I am sure there was not a dry eye in the house! What a joy it has been to see Sharlie thrive with her new lungs and heart!

Your podcast made the point that there were so many great speakers and presenters that it would be impossible to choose a favorite. It seemed there were more breakouts than ever and I only wish I could have seen more of them! Every speaker I heard was fantastic!

Wishing all of you, especially Sharlie, a blessed year ahead! We will look forward to your future podcasts until we can see everyone again at the 21st Annual Convention! It will be amazing too…they always are!

    With love,
    Dyann and Wild

  • Thank you Collette and Dax for the podcast! I think my favorite announcement was the rebranding of USANA. Everything from the new logo, the promise and the new tools! What an awesome way of saying that USANA has integrity and is behind us all the way!

  • Hi Collette & Dax,
It was great reliving the great moments at Covention this year by listening to you both.
My most favourite inspiring & emotional moment was when you & Dax was on stage telling the Sharlie’s journey, then she walks on stage to finish the story, I completely lost it then, the front of my dress was wet, it was so so so so magical, joyful, I cannot find the words to describe what I was feeling. maybe in French I can, (absolument magique).
My love and prayers goes to you both and your families.
Collette, you have been my inspiration from the beginning of my USANA journey 1999, I am a better person for having you in my family,
    God Bless
